	DESCRIPTION
	Business Environment Council (BEC) is an independent, non-profit organisation in Hong Kong promoting corporate social and environmental responsibility. BEC helped to initiate the Building Environmental Assessment Method (BEAM) in 1996 and serves as the Secretariat of the BEAM Society. BEC's assessors are the only qualified BEAM assessors in Hong Kong. BEC has offices in Hong Kong, Beijing and Shenzhen.
