	DESCRIPTION
	The system of registration under the LRO is one of registration of deeds rather than registration of title. Registration evidences ownership, but does not itself confer title. It affects the priority of instruments (such as deeds), but not the validity of a transaction or the courts' entitlement to inquire into the validity of the underlying transaction.
