A governmental department responsible for holding records of all property transactions undertaken and all interests in land created by an instrument, as determined by section 2(1) of the Land Registration Ordinance (Cap 128) and including deeds, conveyances, other written instruments and judgments. The Registry also provides facilities for search of the Land Register and related records, and has responsibility for the registration of owners' corporations under the Building Management Ordinance (Cap 344). |
