	Established in 1984, The Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors (HKIS) identifies itself as the only professional organisation representing surveying in Hong Kong. HKIS' role includes setting standards and establishing codes of ethics for the profession, determining admission requirements for professional surveyors and providing continuing professional development opportunities for its members.
