  DESCRIPTION  
  Established in 1985 to assist disputing parties to solve their disputes by arbitration and by other means of dispute resolution. It was generously funded by the business community and by the Hong Kong Government but it is now totally independent of both and financially self-sufficient. It is a non-profit making company limited by guarantee. Composed of business and professional people of many different nationalities and with a wide diversity of skills and experience, it is available to assist parties to choose the best available option for their particular disputes. For example negotiation, conciliation, mediation or arbitration.
