	In Hong Kong, land is today customarily granted by an auction (or tender) sale subject to Conditions. Conditions of 'exchange', 'grant', 're-grant' or 'extension' are also possible. The Conditions specify the rights and obligations that relate to the particular sale, and subject to which a legal leasehold estate will be granted.
